This includes the overwhelmingly evident feeling of apathy of the current generation, the use of drugs and alcohol, sex, and the common experiences one faces in this age group. While documenting and creating this body of work it became even more evident to me how these "distractions" can both comfort, as well as destroy a person. The strange transition period between teenage years and adulthood holds numerous obstacles that range anywhere from relationship issues, financial instability, emotional issues, personal insecurities, and the consequences of living with nearly no responsibilities-or not realizing the responsibilities at hand. By closely documenting cursos de SEO my friends and acquaintances I was able to experience the raw emotion of depression, anxiety, love, heartbreak, fear, joy, and unexpected strength that comes with this lifestyle, which I am also apart of. I used archival images of my own, as well as new photographs of subjects, settings, possessions, and occurrences. I also included other media formats such as film, found images, and physical objects. I primarily created work with disposable cameras and 35 mm film to capture my subjects, but also incorporated digital aspects.
